This policy applies to personal information obtained through our official website and contact forms, email and other business communications, résumés and related information provided by candidates, recruitment and job platforms, professional communities or other lawful public sources, referrals from candidates, clients, or partners, and information generated during recruitment, interviews, candidate recommendations, and client engagements. Third-party websites, recruitment platforms, and social networks have their own privacy policies; this policy does not apply to services independently controlled by those third parties.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following information.

Client and business information may include names, company and department, job title, telephone and email, hiring requirements and vacancy information, business correspondence, contracts, and service information. Technical and system information may include IP address, browser and device type, system access records, and security and error logs. The public website does not currently provide a résumé attachment upload field; candidates who wish to provide a résumé generally send it by email. We do not actively request sensitive information unless necessary and lawful.

We may process personal information for the following purposes:

Collection, processing, and use are limited to what is reasonably related and necessary for these purposes.

After a candidate provides a résumé or agrees to receive talent services, we may match the candidate's professional background and career direction with relevant roles. When formally recommending a candidate to a specific client, we follow the recruitment process and the candidate's preferences. Candidate information may be retained for a reasonable period so that we can reconnect about suitable future opportunities. Candidates may ask us to stop future career communications or, as permitted by law, request that we stop processing, using, or delete their personal information.

To improve résumé processing, talent search, and matching efficiency, we may use AI or other automated technology to assist with résumé parsing and structuring, professional-experience summaries, skills and experience recognition, preliminary role-to-candidate matching, recruitment information organisation, and other consultant work. We primarily use company-managed local systems. In specific situations, we may use a company-approved commercial API or enterprise information service. When external services are used, we apply data minimisation and limit transmission of non-essential personal information. AI and automated analysis are support tools; we do not, as a rule, make a final recommendation or hiring decision with significant effect on a candidate based solely on an automated result.

Core candidate records and the talent database are primarily stored on company-managed servers located in Taiwan, currently operating on information infrastructure at a FarEasTone data centre. We apply reasonable administrative and information-security measures based on the nature and risk of the data, including access and account controls, limiting access by non-essential personnel, system and data security maintenance, backup and business continuity management, and appropriate supplier and information-service management. No electronic transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security; we continue to protect data within reasonable and practicable limits.

For operations, we may use Microsoft 365 email and office services, website hosting and infrastructure services, telecommunications and data-centre services, company-approved commercial AI APIs, and other necessary information services. Providers may process information only as necessary to deliver their services and must follow applicable contractual, information-security, and personal-data requirements.

Our core candidate database is primarily stored in Taiwan. However, email, website infrastructure, information security, technical support, or approved commercial information and AI services may use technical architectures that involve overseas servers or processing. If a service involves cross-border processing of personal information, we manage it under applicable law, data minimisation, and reasonable information-security measures. We do not sell candidate information to third parties for purposes unrelated to recruitment services.

We retain personal information for the period reasonably necessary to complete the collection purpose. The actual period may depend on recruitment and matching needs, reasonable future-career-service needs, client contracts or business relationships, legal retention requirements, financial, tax, or accounting obligations, establishing, exercising, or defending legal rights, and reasonable security or backup needs. When the purpose disappears, the retention period expires, or processing must stop by law, we delete, stop processing, or otherwise handle the information in accordance with applicable law and internal procedures.

The website currently does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other cross-site behavioural tracking. To keep the site working, it may use essential cookies, Local Storage, or similar technologies to store language selection, cookie preferences, security and basic-function settings, and to prevent abnormal or malicious activity. These technologies are limited to what is necessary for normal operation. If we later add analytics, advertising, marketing, or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, provide an appropriate cookie choice and consent mechanism. You can delete or restrict cookies through browser settings, but some site features may be affected.

The website may include links to LinkedIn or other third-party websites. When you leave our website and use a third-party service, processing is governed by that provider's privacy policy and terms. We cannot control the data practices of third-party websites.

We may revise this policy from time to time because of changes in law, services, information systems, or data-processing practices. The revised version will be published on our website with an updated last-updated date.
